Quillsnap and fairy magic

I want to say that I loved reading this first book from the author. The prologue had me interested and wanting to know more. The first few chapters are character development. After the trip to Quillsnap starts it is fun and keeps you absorbed in what is going to happen. I look forward to reading book 2 in the series. I gave the book to 3 grandkids for Christmas. The youngest one called to tell me she was on chapters 45 a couple of days ago.
