What makes a good writer? -Starting Time-5:30am

After I published my first book, which took 5 years to write, I felt that I needed more discipline in my writing time to be more productive. I have not been a person who gets up early, but I have become one. 5:30 in the morning, it’s quiet, and I can get a lot accomplished on my current writing project. I do not check email before 8:30 am, unless I am waiting for a response from the East Coast, I will scan through them and get back to my project. My glostwriter, Kitty Gracie, sometimes spends the night and gets up early with me, only to nap again till it’s light enough to watch the birds come and feed.

Today’s advice is discipline!
